This comprehensive work offers a visual discovery of all types of music for young enthusiasts from the age of 7, whether they play an instrument or not! It offers a broad panorama that covers History, styles, instruments, orchestras, musical genres in France and around the world, professions, etc. Produced in partnership with France Musique, it is written by two specialist authors: Arnaud Merlin, producer at France Musique, and Hélène Cao, a musicologist who teaches at the conservatory. The chapters are organized into thematic double-page spreads. Each one is illustrated with small, abundant scenes created by Mathieu de Muizon.
