A summer in San Diego at the end of the 80s: meeting a man with an authentically vintage flip-flop.
It was love at first sight for this unique 1958 model, the origin of all those that would follow it but without ever equaling it...
Inheriting the first natural rubber flip-flops worn on the beaches of California at the end of the 50s, Beach Originals reinvents this iconic model with all the stylistic codes of the time:
50's-60's inspired patterns on the sole and strap
2 legendary models: Héritage Slim (15mm sole) and Flatform Slim (25mm sole)
18 subtly vintage color palette for the strap
invariably two-tone sole: creamy white/coconut brown.
The wave design of the strap and the brick design of the sole are inspired by the patterns used for the first Californian flip-flops from the late 1950s.
Combined with the slightly faded colors of the strap and the two-tone sole, symbols of this same era, they give Beach Originals the elegant and vintage touch specific to the brand's DNA.
