Duvet cover in the highest quality egyptian cotton with a satin weaving with ekstra high tread count of 3-400 TC (normal cotton satin is around 200 TC). The design is the classical beautiful hotel stripe design. We've all had satin bedding at one time or another. The kind of satin that makes it very difficult to sleep with as it is so slippery that you almost slip out of bed every time you move a little. This form of satin is made of polyester, also called polyester satin. Polyester is a strong material, but the problem is that it is not very breathable and at the same time synthetically made. Therefore, many, today, don't like satin in general. However, it turns out that satin is actually a very nice weaving method if you use cotton instead of polyester. Especially egyptian cotton gives a great result. This is what you get here. Cotton satin is woven from very fine cotton yarns, which give the set a finer and shinier look. At the same time, cotton satin weaving also makes the fabric more durable, which holds the color incredibly well for longer, even after many years of washing. This type of satin weave is usually found in hotels around big cities and the characteristic Scandinavian design is also known as hotel striped bedding. The extra high weave also makes the bedding not curl as easily. At Bedandbathtextile, we simply recommend that you spread the bedding out after washing, preferably on a drying rack or clothesline, and in this way you help the bedding on the way to straightening the curls and folds. The duvet cover is equipped with practical buttons that close inwards so they do not interfere with a peaceful sleep. Washable at 60 degrees celcius. Don't use bleach. Can be ironed.
