"Some time after meeting in a workshop where we were making jewelry for a major luxury house, Benoit and I decided, as independent artisans, to create a jewelry brand whose name combines a bit of our two first names: Beïad. We have chosen to work mainly with Murano glass for the light it provides and for its almost infinite palette of colors.
Benoit, a glassmaker, masters the flame and its subtleties. It is he who carries out the torch enameling of each glass cabochon that adorns our pieces, using a rare technique used in Haute Couture at the beginning of the 20th century.
As for me, I obtained my jewelry diploma from a Parisian school in 2016. Using the techniques I acquired in the various workshops where I worked, I make the 925 silver or brass settings that form the basis of Beïad jewelry. They then pass through Benoit's hands, then are polished and plated in 18-carat gold by us. Thus, each Beïad jewel is a guarantee of exceptional craftsmanship."
