Marigold

A botanical sketch inspired painting of a marigold completed with spraypaint on heavy black card. The large bright vibrant flower painting looks great contrasted on the matte black surface. With a satin black glitter background the flower really stands out. It comes unframed, but looks great in a black frame. Marigolds represent strength and light and have been used as a medicinal herb, and companion plant, for as long as we can understand. All pieces are completed A2 (approx. 59cm x 42cm) on 300gsm black card, using acrylic aerosol paints. They are all individually hand stencilled, embossed and come backed on cardboard and sealed in a cellophane slip. A plastic free ‘Eco Option’ is available at checkout. With this option the art is rolled carefully into cardboard packaging with tissue paper.
