For nearly 30 years, we have been working for local development and the promotion of fair, respectful and responsible organic agriculture in Togo. This fair trade sector, created to offer you its particularly tasty “Smooth Cayenne” Pineapple, is made up of more than 300 families of small planters, united in cooperative groups. The local drying workshop collects the fruit, organizes training, and makes available the development funds paid through your purchases, according to the needs of small producers. The fruit is picked perfectly ripe, then cut into several variations: beautiful slices separated from their hard and woody core, and pieces of different sizes. It is then dried as quickly and at the lowest temperature possible. Color, flavor and fragrance are thus preserved for more pleasure... Fragrant, naturally sweet, slightly acidic, a real treat!
