Etna White D.O.C.

Produced from carricante grapes grown in saplings and espaliers on the south-eastern slope of Etna, Sicily, at 700 meters above sea level, it is aged in the bottle for at least four months. It has a straw yellow color and a delicate bouquet of aromas with hints of white fruit. It has a dry, mineral flavor with pleasant acidity and aromatic persistence. It is one of the undisputed protagonists of the Etna wine renaissance, an extraordinary terroir capable of giving wines elegance and minerality. Autochthonous Sicilian white grape variety, the Carricante – today at the base of the white Etna D.O.C. (60%) and Etna Bianco Superiore D.O.C. (80%) – has been raised since ancient times on the hilly and sandy sides of the volcano which, if on the one hand feed it with rock, minerals and ashes, on the other they expose it to the sea, which ensures freshness and flavor to the wine. "GORNA", Boniviri's Etna Bianco D.O.C produced by Giovanni, a Boniviri grower.
