CAMILLA BORGODEA, an American photographer by profession and a writer by passion, is the young granddaughter of Italian emigrants.
One day a letter from Italy invites her to fly over the ocean and go to a quiet village in the hills of the AMALFI COAST, where she has inherited an old farmhouse with a lemon grove.
A short trip turns into an exciting adventure that offers her a new opportunity: LIVING IN ITALY.
And she settles there, on that strip of land, between the hills and the sea...
And starting from CAVA DE' TIRRENI, in the province of SALERNO, every day CAMILLA explores those places where nature seems to have truly enjoyed itself: from AMALFI to POSITANO, from MAIORI to ATRANI, climbing up to RAVELLO and descending even further to PRAIANO.
Around every corner a new sight appears: a lemon grove and the waves crashing on the rocks, a tangle of houses clinging to the hill and a tower standing alone.
And then the scents, the flavors, and the pleasant conversation with the locals: “The lemons must be picked when they are not yet fully ripe…” – “The whole cocoa bean is processed by hand.”
