Faugères - Le Gaillard

Brilliant cherry red colour. The nose is noticeably riper on this 2020 vintage with still this hint of pencil, garrigue, fresh mint and a meaty side. On the palate, the attack is clean and frank with always this grain of tannin, this so characteristic fat that plays between tension and power. On the palate we find mint but also thyme, anise, liquorice, fennel and smoky notes. This vintage has the strong personality of this wine, with a rusticity and a wild side which nevertheless preserves a surprising and elegant harmony.
