The Madonna - N°1 - 2016

Slightly garnet colour. The nose is very fine with a nice liveliness. We first perceive smoky notes then aromas of black fruits, gingerbread and humus mingle to offer us a beautiful complexity. On the palate the wine has a lot of verticality and uprightness. We find the aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberries then it is the garrigue, the cinnamon, the pepper which are expressed. The whole is supported by an incredible freshness very representative of the terroirs of the Domaine. The grain of the tannins is of a very fine finesse but surprises with its presence and consistency. This wine offers us a superb balance that predicts great aging potential.
