To brew abbey-type beers, because the Abbey of Clairmarais housed a brewery,
To tell you the story of the Abbey of Clairmarais, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1140,
To offer you a unique tourist offer combining tradition, heritage, local crafts, nature, walks, discovery, for individuals and companies,
To transmit to you our local approach at the production and partnership level.
In short, to make you discover this exceptional place and share with you our passion for beer, the history of our Abbey and our values!

A two-step project
It is in the former sheepfold of the Abbey farm that the brewery will see the light of day.
Even if the walls and the frame, dating from the 17th century, are still in good condition, the installation of a brewery requires some interior fittings and above all time...
The goal is to brew on site from April 2020!
While waiting and during the works, our beers are brewed and bottled at the Brasserie Bellenaert, in Bailleul, and at the Ferme Brasserie de Wagnonville, in Douai.
Thus, Abbaye de Clairmarais Blonde and Abbaye de Clairmarais Triple are already available for sale and tasting!
