SPIRULIN POWDER

Origin Our spirulina is grown in southern Finistère in the Pays Bigouden. It is dried in a dryer at low temperature (below 40°C) to preserve all its nutrients. It is produced from March to October in respect of the environment, in an unheated greenhouse. Dried spirulina can be kept for 2 years. How to consume spirulina powder? Spirulina powder can be sprinkled on all your dishes and can be used in all your recipes: soups, salads, smoothies, cereals, yogurt... Be careful not to heat it too much so as not to degrade its nutrients. Find ideas in our recipe file. It is recommended to consume between 3g and 6g of spirulina per day for an adult. A teaspoon of spirulina powder is about 2g. If you consume it for the first time, or if you start a cure, gradually increase the dose (example: 1/2 teaspoon for a week, then a teaspoon for a week, until you reach the desired amount) . Gradually increasing the dose over weeks allows your body to get used to the nutrient intake. If you are in good health, and have a healthy and varied diet, you can consume 3g/d. If you have sports performance goals, if you are tired, you are vegetarian, or you have deficiencies, you can increase your consumption up to 6g/d. You can consume it as a cure, or all year round . If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to ask your doctor for advice before starting to consume spirulina.
