Initially, subtle fruit brandy aromas flow out of the glass, followed immediately by clear peat notes. Then tobacco notes, reminiscent of Perique, increasingly assert themselves. At the same time, very subtle aromas of smoked ham peppered with walnuts develop. A wonderful interplay between malty sweetness and a balanced veil of peat dominates the tongue.
