Gilors Single Malt Whiskey Peated-Madaira, 0.5 liters, 45.3% vol

If you didn't know that this whiskey was distilled and stored in Germany, you would guess maritime aromas in the nose at first glance. Immediately afterwards, an olfactory potpourri of exposed spice, phenol, mineral notes, herbal tones, tart fruit notes and a hint of Black Forest ham spreads. The phenol dominates the taste with tart, spicy fruit sweetness and wood and leaves a package of peat and smoky notes on the finish. Distilled from Scottish peat malt at 40ppm 436 bottles of 0.5 L each distilled: Dec 2016 / bottled: May 2021 not colored & not chill-filtered
