Brokante is a separate “k”, and the name conveys a particular idea of vintage. Brokante embodies a state of mind that is just a touch of luxury, somewhere between traditional glovemaking and a decidedly contemporary style. Brokante immediately refers to these places of exchange and exhibition anchored in French culture. Maison Brokante has its roots in Grenoble, the former historic capital of glove-making, and wishes to restore the nobility of the famous Grenoble gloves. Because unearthing treasures from the past defines the Brokante spirit, the Brokante glove collections draw their inspiration from our history: that of the 20th century.
