The riches of our Tuscan hills are fruits of the earth not of water, let alone salt. Thus Nautilius was born further south, among the hops of Pompeii to be precise. The wonderful decorations, transferred today to the Archaeological Museum of Naples and then inspiring a completely different pleasure, have stimulated and advised us in the path of completion of this marine canvas.
