By The Horns started brewing in 2011 to raise the quality of beer & brewing; to increase choice & make good beer much more widely available to buy & drink.
Friends Alex and Chris began homebrewing in 2010 at their shared house in south London testing recipes and giving away free beer for feedback at parties. From there they scaled up production and began brewing at a commercial level a year later. From that inaugural brew they haven’t looked back and now produce a fantastic range of award-winning craft beers
Their focus was on brewing the best quality approachable, yet flavoursome beer which can not only be purchased in the best indie beer specialist retailers but will also look to stand alongside ‘big commercial beer’ & offer all customers a great choice.
