100% Colombian Arabica Producer: Asorcafe Cooperative Region: Cauda, Nudo de Almaguer Variety: Caturra, Castillo, Bourbon Altitude: 2000 M Treatment of cherries: Fully Washed Specialty coffee: 85 The Asorcafe cooperative was created, to be exact, on July 11, 2003 in the town of Pedegral in the region. With 290 members, this cooperative is a real support for producers. It is a structure allowing them to learn how to grow specialty coffee and offering support programs to improve social and economic conditions for families and their communities. Producers operate plots of around 2 hectares and up to 2000 M altitude. They grow caturra, typica, bourbon, tabi du castillo and pink bourbon. The coffee is fully washed with fermentation for 30 hours then dried for around fifteen days. Best consumed in a grain machine, in a mocha, and in gentle extraction. Le Magnifique by Asorcafé is a fruity coffee, with a nice acidity.
