Origin: Nyamagabe Region, Rwanda Producer: MIG Cooperative Altitude: It is cultivated between 1800 and 2200 meters. Variety: Bourbon. Process: Washed. Tasting: Cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate and sweet caramel flavors are appreciated. High acidity. Score: 86.75. Rwanda is located in the center of Africa, in the Great Lakes region. Agriculture is the main economic engine of the country and coffee, one of the main crops. Since 2000, the country's authorities have been committed to the production of quality coffee. To do this, they promote the training of coffee growers. Coffee is produced by small farmers who are organized in cooperatives like MIG. Most of the coffee grown is Arabica. The Nyamagabe district has ideal characteristics for quality coffee. It is located in the south of the country, bordering Burundi. The water used for cherry processing comes from the Nyungwe National Park and the Nile. Ingagi means gorilla in Kinyarwanda, the main language spoken in Rwanda. The gorilla is one of the most representative animals in the country. Grade 1 refers to the classification of coffee beans.
