Colombia La Meseta

A single origin balanced between the acidity of citrus fruits and the sweetness of ripe fruit and nuts. The single-origin Colombia Supremo Finca la Meseta is a specialty of Arabica quality, grown at an altitude of about 1000m above sea level, this gives sweeter and more fruity notes to our cup of coffee. This small plantation, located in the Medellin region of Colombia, takes great care of every step, from cultivation, to harvest, to processing. The drupes, containing the coffee beans, are in fact harvested with the picking method, therefore manually, selecting only the ripe cherries at the right point. After which they are processed with the washed method to dry the beans in the sun only at the end of the process. This gives a fresh note to the extracted coffee. The nose releases aromas of cocoa and ripe fruit. While when tasted, you immediately notice a soft body that wraps the tongue, together with the sweetness of plum and blackberry and the intensity of 60% chocolate. If left to cool slightly, a citric acidity reminiscent of lemon peel is enhanced. Moreover, thanks to the low caffeine content, it can also be consumed in the later hours of the afternoon or evening.
