Calder's Kitchen was formed by Andrew Calder in 2015 after the discovery of his late Grandad Charlie's original Piccalilli recipe and deciding to make a small batch in his memory. We decided to start Calder's Kitchen following amazing feedback from family and friends and then from the public at farmers markets and small events.
The business took off and we now stock around 300 independent food & drink businesses across the UK and a small number of shops in Europe. In 2022 we added catering packs for food service in all seven of our current flavours allowing many of our customers to enjoy a cross over of sales between their kitchen and shop.
We have won awards for our products including a Great Taste Awards in 2016, 2020 & 2022, the Condiment World Cup in 2022 (Sillylilli) and a Great British Food & Drink Award for our Piccalilli.
We offer a range of both traditional classic condiments as well as spicy, emerging flavours (our Spicy Tomato Chutney winning a Guild of Fine Food 2-Star award last year.
All of our products not only taste great, but are gluten-free and suitable for a vegan diet.
