The project was initiated by the German-Iranian fashion designer Leyla Piedayesh from Berlin, who, together with the author Stefanie von Wietersheim and the photographer Neda Rajabi, wanted to show the lives of Iranian women in Germany - as a signal of the desire for freedom of women in Iran and beyond its borders. ‘I have been working as a journalist for over 25 years.
