Cannabilla is an agro-biochemical laboratory for the processing of hemp and local herbs. In fact, the name derives from the fusion of two words, Cannabis Sativa, the scientific name of a plant with a thousand resources, and Sibilla, the mountain that gives its name to the Sibillini Mountains chain, a place of ancient herbal and alchemical traditions typical of the so-called herbariums, as well as territory in which the laboratory is located.
Thanks to the experience acquired in the treatment of the plant and the simultaneous publication of scientific studies, of the notable virtues of hemp on the skin, the development of cosmetic preparations characterized by the presence of active substances coming from hemp extracts and its seeds in combination with l traditional use of local herbs.
With the green light from the European authorities to use hemp and its extracts as ingredients in cosmetic products, Cannabilla becomes an expert workshop in the production of cosmetics based on industrial hemp (cannabis sativa L). It produces and selects part of the ingredients used for cosmetics in a short supply chain, in the land right next to the laboratory.
