Cannelya is a French brand of scented candles.
Our creations come in concrete pots. Handmade in our Parisian workshop.
Each of our scents has been carefully developed by our artisan perfumer, they are unique.
The raw materials used remain 99% natural. The entire design has been the subject of a responsible approach.
The Cannelya genesis was born of a delicate intention. At the end of December 2020, the freshness of Paris is felt and we wanted to offer scented candles to our loved ones to warm up the winter. Despite the panoply of candles that were presented to us, none really corresponded to our desires.
Through this experience, a desire to create was born in us and it was only after long months of reflection that we did our first test.
We tirelessly repeat the experience to finally decide to launch ourselves and make the original, unique and personal candle.
We wanted to create a product in our image. Cannelya is the synergy between our Parisian daily life and my Malagasy roots. We also make a point of honor on quality, aesthetics and responsible manufacturing.
Why the name Cannelya?
Cinnamon teas are an integral part of my childhood, a remedy for everything (cough). Beyond a spice, cinnamon is my Proust madeleine and a personal inspiration. Its fragrant, intense and deep notes rocked my childhood and today I want to share the same feeling through my candles.
The name "a" is a nod to the Big Island of Madagascar, due to the ending of the words.
