Our winery was born in Sardinia, in Terralba, a country rich in history, culture and winemaking traditions, to preserve part of the wine heritage already existing in the area, enhancing its production. We cultivate and produce wines from the Bovale di Terralba and also from other important Sardinian vines such as Cannonau, Monica and Vermentino. Our wines respect our attention to the territory and we like to think of them as Drops of Reinterpreted Tradition. In Sardinia, in Terralba, a country rich in history, culture and winemaking traditions, the Cantina del Bovale was born after about 10 years of winemaking experiments, giving continuity to the ancient family trade. The project, ambitious and well defined, is to preserve part of that already existing viticultural heritage in the area, enhancing its production, in particular that of the native vine, the Bovale in fact. To this end, great importance is given to the preservation of old vineyards planted with saplings, which are still able to deliver excellent grapes today. Production: in addition to Bovale, other important Sardinian vines are grown such as Cannonau, Monica and Vermentino. The processing of the vines takes place with the aim of obtaining a production per vine limited to about 1.2 kg. The attention continues during the harvest and later in the vinification where thanks to modern technologies, the attention and the wisdom of the oenologist, we obtain wines that are fully respectful of the grapes and the territory from which they come.
