Perciasacchi Wholemeal Flour Macaroni 250g

Also called long spelled, it is an ancient variety of Sicilian wheat. It has lower yields than modern wheat. The ear, about 1.80 cm high, has a high protein content. The name literally means "bucca sacks" because it has a pointed shape that pierces the jute sacks in which it is collected. Drought resistant, it adapts very well to organic farming. Its properties are: a low level of mycotoxins, a less elastic and less tenacious gluten which is therefore less toxic to the body; a lower glycemic index than other products.
