Do you know the Italian Easter dove? This is the Easter version of the famous Christmas panettone! The base of the impasto (the dough) is the same as that of the panettone (flour, eggs, sugar, yeast and butter) to which candied fruits and dried fruits are added, sometimes with more spring flavors. The cake is then molded in the shape of a dove 🕊️ This version with peaches and yogurt is characterized by a soft and moist paste, with notes of yogurt, enriched with semi-candied peaches. Topped with glaze and crunchy toasted hazelnuts. A meeting of flavors that brings you back to spring!
