Dried Wild Calabrian Oregano

In the Calabrian markets large bouquets of Oregano fill the air with their intensive aromatic fragrance. One of those few herbs that, traditionally, are almost always used dry, not fresh. Calabrian Oregano has a unique intense flavour thanks to the unusually high concentration of essential oils found in this native variety. To use simply shake the whole branch gently over your plate or pot. Oregano is great for finishing summer salads, winter stews, pizzas and bruschette.
