Pork! is, above all, family and love for the Iberian. Family, more than anything, because our parents are Iberian pig farmers, who instilled in us these values from childhood. In fact, it was his imminent retirement that made us realize that we had before us a unique opportunity, and thus be able to continue linked to the land where we were born, taking advantage of everything that we had been taught in the breeding of Iberian pigs, and go one step further, closing the production cycle, and making products from the acorn-fed Iberian pig reach consumers directly.
That's why Cerdoh was born! For the desire to do something different. Because we believed that the world of the Iberian pig, so common to all, still had much to offer: We want to continue being what we are, breeders, and at the same time, offer a quality product, without cheating or cardboard, in which the traceability in all production processes, from food to product preparation and, along the way, consumers are offered truthful and useful information about what they eat.
We want to transfer to the consumer the same Iberian products, the same flavors, that we enjoyed at home. The ham for our snacks, the chorizo and salami for snacking before dinner, the loin for special days. Iberian products that have always been made in villages better than in factories. Iberian products that, incidentally, will show a modern, fun and simple image, just as we are, far from the conventionalisms of the "gourmet" world.
Pork! It is our passion without intermediaries: a quality product, traceable from beginning to end, based on the breeding of 100% Iberian pigs of the "Lampiño" lineage (as opposed to industrial crossbreeding in which performance is sought over quality ). Pork! It is what we want it to be: more flavor and more care for the Iberian, more nature and more Campo de Argañán. And it is that Campo de Argañán, after all, the place that saw us born. The place we want to be. Pig's place!
