We are passionate about hemp and the resources our region offers!
Chanvr’eel & Carat’eel are the culmination of atypical projects led by two Alsatian brothers: Guillaume and David, who have made it their mission to improve people's health in a simple and sustainable way using 100% organic oil plants such as hemp. Since 2019 we have been developing a nutritious and healthy range of natural food and cosmetic products while preserving water resources in a region affected by droughts.
By offering our products, you preserve water resources and support a circular and solidarity economy :)
- Our values: The fields are located on average within a radius of 30km from our workshop, artisanal cosmetics made by our partner soap maker at the other end of the village and our sachets are packaged at the end of the street in an ESAT by people with disabilities.
-Chanvr'eel Project: revival of (food) hemp in Alsace, a historic, ecological and hyper-nutritious crop. Hemp captures more CO2 than a forest, requires little to no irrigation and offers seeds rich in protein (25-60%), omega 3, fiber, vitamins and minerals!
-Carat'eel Project: development of an artisanal oil mill that promotes local crops by offering gourmet oils of sunflower, rapeseed, hemp and camelina, cold-pressed or raw, as well as gluten-free flours rich in protein.
