chateau Brethous is a family estate in organic and biodynamic agriculture on 15 hectares in Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux red and Bordeaux Clairet. Cécile Mallié Verdier and Thierry Mallié together create healthy wines on the hills overlooking the Garonne. With biodynamics, the terroir of Château Brethous is worked with respect for microbial life so that the vine roots take root and plunge into living soil and can find the elements it needs to live and ripen the grapes, to defend themselves. against the attacks of fungi and climatic hazards. Their approach also includes water and energy saving practices, recycling of dry materials (stoppers, bottles, boxes, labels), training of students in the professions of independent winegrowers and in biodynamics.
