An exceptional vintage, this wine is rich and concentrated.  Intensely fruity, it will seduce you with its aromas of black fruits and spices.  Finely wooded, full on the palate, this vintage goes perfectly with roasted, stuffed or sauced poultry as well as with almost veal or rack of lamb.  The 2016 is now at its peak but you can still enjoy it for many years.  90/100 Decanter, Dussert-Gerbert Excellence Prize 2022.  Assembly: 60% Merlot - 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, Terroir of clayey gravel on limestone subsoil.  Winemaking: Vatting in stainless steel vats and thermoregulated wooden vats, traditional extraction by pumping over and unloading.  Vatting for 20 to 25 days.  Malolactic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel vats.  Unfiltered.  Breeding: For 15 months in French oak barrels, 50% in new barrels and the remaining 50% in wine barrels.  Tasting advice: Now in its mature phase, it will be particularly appreciated with simmered meats or game.  It will also be a very good companion to a grilled piece of beef.
