After a year marked by severe heatwaves (17 days with temperatures above 25°C), we began the Merlot harvest on September 16. The harvest was then staggered, plot by plot, to end with the Cabernet Sauvignons from the ‘Cazebonne’ terroir on October 13, 2022. Fermentation with natural yeasts, 3-week maceration with light pumping over. Aged for 24 months in vats before bottling on December 20, 2024. The vintage presents notes of ripe fruit, well-blended tannins, for a gourmet wine, perfectly ready to drink. Proportion of grape varieties: Merlot: 55% Cabernet-sauvignon: 45%
