It was in 1870, in the heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône, that the first vines of Château de Gourdon were planted. Bucolic and welcoming place in northern Vaucluse, the Château de Gourdon draws its inspiration from a wine region with more than 2000 years of history, an exceptional natural setting and the modernity of its twinning with the New World.
Château de Gourdon is surrounded by around fifty hectares of vines and around fifteen hectares of woodland. Its plots, some of which are over 70 years old, are planted on gentle slopes, exposed to the sun and the Mistral. Deeply attached to nature and our heritage, we work with respect for our terroirs, in order to enhance their finest expression.
