Complex blend: Grenache noir, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault and Mourvèdre. The vines grow on deep sandy loam soils, which give the wine great liveliness. The grapes are crushed then cold macerated for a few days. Fermentations are rapid then followed by a long hot skin maceration. Its purple color with garnet reflections is reminiscent of cherry liqueur. It offers finely spiced notes of pepper and star anise. The mouth is ample, the tannins melted, its finish evokes the bud of blackcurrant. Jolie Balade is a generous and convivial wine that will go well with friends, in front of an antipasti board as an aperitif.
