The Château de Gragnos, a wine estate founded in 1710 and located in Saint-Chinian in the Hérault, was recently taken over by Alain and Patricia Limauge. With the team of advisors and experts around them, they adopt an approach in harmony with the surrounding nature and the places they have fallen madly in love with. Passionate about gardens since always, they carry out a work of craftsman, treating each vine with the greatest care, to sublimate nature, using techniques that respect the terroir and the environment. A transition to 100% organic they undertook upon their arrival in Gragnos two years ago.
If the vines occupy a central place in the estate, there are also nearly 70 ha of olive trees, fruit trees and scrubland which contribute to the balance of the biotope of the property. The integration and cohabitation of different cultures is one of the particularities of the estate. The different animal and plant species live in symbiosis and mutually provide the conditions for their development.
Located only about thirty kilometers from the Mediterranean coast and on the hills at the foot of the Cévennes, the location of Château de Gragnos brings to the grape varieties the typical freshness of the estate's wines.
