Château de Gragnos, a wine estate founded in 1710 and located in Saint-Chinian in Hérault, was recently taken over by Alain and Patricia Limauge. With the team of advisors and experts around them, they adopt an approach in accordance with the surrounding nature and the places they have fallen in love with. Always passionate about gardens, they carry out artisan work, treating each vine with the greatest care, to enhance nature, using techniques that respect the terroir and the environment. A transition to 100% organic that they undertook upon their arrival in Gragnos in 2021.
If the vines occupy a central place in the estate, there are also nearly 70 hectares of olive trees, fruit trees and scrubland which contribute to the balance of the biotope of the property. The integration and cohabitation of different cultures are one of the particularities of the field. The different animal and plant species live in symbiosis and provide each other with the conditions for their development.
Located just thirty kilometers from the Mediterranean coast and on the hills at the foot of the Cévennes, the location of Château de Gragnos gives the grape varieties the freshness typical of the estate's wines.
