AOC Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux: Merlot: 60%. Cabernet-Sauvignon: 25%. Cabernet Franc: 15%. Beautiful fairly dark garnet colour. A fruity nose at the opening evoking prune, blackcurrant, violet and pepper, with a lot of originality and a hint of chocolate. In the mouth, its jovial flesh lines the palate with crunchy and juicy notes like small berries that explode under the tooth. Nice finish where the fruit aromas are supported by silky and coated tannins. Rated 90/100 by James Suckling: American critic (ex editor-in-chief of Wine Spectator).
