Château du Garde has been a family property since 1925. Producer of Grand Vin de Bordeaux, we produce Red, White and Clairet wines, in the Bordeaux and Côtes de Bordeaux appellations.
Our estate, located in the heart of the Côtes de Bordeaux wine region, is recognized for its quality wines, made with passion and know-how. We are proud to announce that our estate is certified High Environmental Value level 3, highlighting environmentally friendly viticultural practices.
Today we are proud of our different wines, including Clairet which won a silver medal in the 2024 independent winegrowers competition. Our older plots now create great vintage wines, including a vintage which was recently tasted by two of the best sommeliers in the world: Paolo Basso and Paz Levinson. This vintage beat Château Figeac Grand Cru Classé from St Emilion in a tasting competition.
They say that a good winegrower is always dissatisfied, we constantly seek excellence and originality so our work continues from year to year for your pleasure and also mine because, a happy winegrower is a winegrower who makes you happy.
