Since 1817, the Fazembat family has continued to maintain the Château Haut-Pradot wine estate in the finest tradition.
These clayey lands are passed down from generation to generation... We are committed to maintaining tradition while bringing modernity!

👨👩👧👧We are a 13-hectare family estate located in Morizes, near La Réole, in the well-known Entre-Deux-Mers wine region. My husband and I work alone on the farm. We do everything from A to Z…. planting vines, pruning the vines, “pampering” them and marketing.
Our terroir:
🍇 Our clayey soil from Morizes is well known for being the quality raw material for the manufacture of Gironde tiles. Our red grape varieties flourish on these clayey soils, and the white grape varieties are on boulbène (sandy-clayey soil).
Our wine culture
The vineyard is committed to organic farming🍃. We devote a lot of our energy to working the soil. We train the vines using simple Guyot pruning and carry out all the necessary green operations manually to obtain high-quality grapes (disbudding, high trellising, leaf removal and thinning if necessary).
Our wines
Our white, thanks to our terroir and our winemaking method, have very floral aromas while retaining fat and freshness.
Our rosé is very unusual. It surprises with its powerful aromas and its length in the mouth, all thanks to the unusual winemaking process: rosé de saigné.
Our reds: vinified in a very traditional way, for several generations, the reds will make you rediscover the taste of Bordeaux: balanced and powerful wines with melted tannins.

Grandma’s recipes are brought up to date!
The old people didn't throw anything away back then. All the leftovers were reused and the wine too!
We all know wine vinegar but Grandma Fazembat also made wine jelly! Wine and sugar… and that’s it! No additives, no preservatives!
