Children of winegrowers, Blandine and Jérémy Borde grew up in the wine industry then took over the family property from Jérémy's grandparents in 2015.
Committed to sustainable agriculture, they made the decision to run Château Peylaby in organic farming since 2018.
Working in harmony with nature allows them to reveal the typical expression of Médoc terroirs.
At Château Peylaby the vintages are certified in Organic Agriculture with Biodynamic practices and certain vintages are worked in a natural way: native yeasts and without sulfite.
Château Peylaby is located in the commune of Saint Germain d’Esteuil in AOC Médoc. The total surface area of the vineyard is 10 hectares, this remains on a human scale and allows us to work with precision by making micro vintages. The vines are located in three communes: Saint Germain d’Esteuil, Ordonnac and Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc. There is clay-limestone, gravelly and sandy-loamy soil.
