Château Saint Louis is a wine estate represented today by the 5th generation of a
large family of enthusiasts, producing wines and spirits in the south-west of France for
1878.
Ali Mahmoudi, Doctor in Physics, gave up his career in 1980 and passed the diploma of oenologist in order to join the family wine company of his wife. A true precursor, he was the first to plant Chardonnay in the region and to
convert, in the 2000s, the entire estate to organic.
Today the estate he built with his wife has 30 ha of vines, compared to 5 ha in 1991.
Since 2018, and the sudden death of Ali, Benoit, his son, joined the estate. He is supported by Sylvie, the production manager and his father's right-hand man for more than 20 years.
