Amaretto

The liqueur that flavors your desserts and coffees!   Amaretto, which derives from the Italian amaro (bitter), can be enjoyed as an aperitif, as a digestive or even as a cocktail.   Pastry chefs also like to use it for tiramisu.   It is produced from alcohol and bitter almond kernels which give it this very particular taste.
