Palo Santo

Palo Santo or ‘holy wood’ originates from the native Indians in South America. Centuries ago Palo Santo was used during ceremonies to clear the aura and to promote healing from negative influences. Nowadays, the Palo Santo Wood is often used to energetically cleanse spaces and objects, similar to white sage or simply enjoyed for its natural aroma when burnt. The fragrance can be described as a warm, wooden and lightly aroma with a sweet touch. In comparison with white sage (that is also used for the same purpose), Palo Santo gives off a very mild odor. To burn palo santo wood sticks: - Light a palo santo stick with a candle, lighter, or match. - Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle. - Let the stick burn for 30 seconds. - Blow out the flame.
