Clos Triguedina is the cradle of the Baldès family. A heritage full of human stories. Pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela used to eat at Clos Triguedina, “Me trigo de dina” meaning “I can’t wait to dine” in Occitan. In 1830, Etienne Baldès identified the most beautiful terraces in the Lot Valley and decided to plant his first Cahors plots at Clos Triguedina. Since then, 7 generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another to promote the expertise of the Baldès family. Proud of his heritage and his roots, Jean-Luc Baldès now works to pass on his expertise to his daughter, Juliette, who continues the history of the Baldès family at Clos Triguedina and now embodies the seventh generation since the summer of 2023 and the first female generation.
