Combel Editorial is a label that since 1989 publishes illustrated books for boys and girls with the intention of providing them with quality materials that accompany them in their training as readers.
Our catalog includes a very wide range of titles, from cloth or bath books and full cardboard books for the little ones, to stories and knowledge books for boys and girls up to nine years old.
The selection of the materials that we publish is based on two basic principles: the presence of an educational value and the demand for quality, both in terms of the text and the illustration. These principles translate into the desire to choose the most interesting proposals by national authors and illustrators and the purpose of looking at what is published abroad to transfer the most innovative projects to our cultural environment.
Combel Editorial belongs to the Editorial Casals group since 1994, although it maintains an independent editorial line and catalogue. The basic lines of the Combel catalog are:
Fiction titles, to teach children to interpret the aesthetic values of the text and the image.
Classic tales, so that they acquire a first cultural background and learn about our tradition.
Knowledge books, to help them understand the world around them.
Activity notebooks, so they can reinforce the learning skills they have acquired at school.
And, in accordance with our international vocation, in 2006 we opened a subsidiary in Mexico.
