Couleurs Rivage

I fell in love with textiles and plant dyes, especially indigo blue, because it allows me to establish a strong relationship with nature, which constantly amazes me. Taking a raw material and enhancing all its beauty by harmoniously adding color is a rewarding experience.

These plant-based colors appear brighter and more changeable depending on the lighting than those of synthetic dyes. They harmonize with each other in a very subtle way, it is a real wonder and a great source of happiness.

It was through my training with Caroline Cochet that I became passionate about these beautiful materials and fascinating processes, and in the workshop of David Santandreu, Master dyer and indigo expert, I learned to better master this delicate dye. Due to my initial training in chemistry, I like to experiment and analyze my results. EDeveloping this delicate alchemy of natural colors allows me to develop collections of high-end products.

Ultimately, my aspirations would be to be able to develop the use of local natural materials, such as moorland ferns or grape must from local wine estates, and thus have an increasingly diverse palette of natural colors at hand.
