For the preparation of these Gnocchetti Sardi, the envelope of the grain of durum wheat has therefore been preserved and crushed, hence the brown color of the pasta. True health allies, organic wholemeal pasta is a source of fiber and protein. They are also rich in manganese, a natural antioxidant. Like all our organic pasta, the Wholemeal Gnocchetti Sardi were made from durum wheat semolina from the organic durum wheat sector in Île-de-France and made in our workshop in Meaux. They have been dried slowly and at low temperature to retain the authentic flavor of durum wheat, as well as all its nutrients, including proteins. Bronze-drawn, these organic C.Q.F.D. are rough in order to retain the sauce for a tenfold gluttony. Due to their size and shape, the Organic Whole Gnocchetti Sardi will please the whole family. We recommend that you taste them au gratin, or accompanied by a fluid or thicker sauce with small pieces. The remoulding of durum wheat brings woody notes to the flavor of the pasta which will go perfectly with a mushroom sauce, such as our Organic Mushrooms & Cantal Sauce n°300.
