After three years apart studying, but mainly drinking, with our friends at uni we started to discuss what our next step would be. We put together the things we loved – staying fit, keeping healthy and cider – to create Cranes in 2012!
We worked extremely hard on. The recipe, making sure our ciders tasted amazing while also being completely natural and a healthier alternative to the existing fruit ciders on the market.
With our recipe finalised, we set about making our first batch. We struggled a lot at the start, with our whole brewery flooding after only 7 months, but we didn’t let that stop us!
We ended up renting a space on our friend Sam’s farm and moved our brewery there –we’ve been handcrafting our drinks there ever since. From these humble beginnings, Cranes is now the fastest growing cider company in the UK
We’ve also branched out to other drinks, and now handcraft a Cranberry Gin and a range of Liqueurs
At our core, we have always had a passion for protecting our planet and using completely natural ingredients. So, to offset our CO2 emissions, we use sustainable methods and plant trees, meaning we’re carbon neutral
