Rotating Vitruvian Man

The Vitruvian Man is a pencil and ink drawing on paper (34x24 cm) by Leonardo da Vinci, dated around 1490 and currently located in the Cabinet of Drawings and Prints of the Galleries of the Academy of Venice. Our model shows Leonardo's drawing inscribed inside a globe. It is an attempt to transfer the two-dimensional drawing into a solid structure capable of supporting it and communicating the close relationship seen by Leonardo between the human figure and the mathematical perfection of geometric figures.
