DEMANO was born as an idea to solve a specific problem in our modern cities: to give a second life to a material that was discarded and that was impossible to reuse. Despite the constant advancement of recycling techniques, it is not always possible to recover all materials. Unimaginable amounts of urban material go directly to landfills every year. DEMANO is a brand created in Barcelona that, since 1999, is a pioneer in the reuse of massive urban waste materials - mainly PVC advertising banners - to turn them into unique objects: bags, accessories and other products. Today DEMANO is a project based on the environment and aesthetic awareness, whose unique products tell a particular story of their place of origin.
